1.       Senate

Vote above the line by putting a 1 in box CAustralian Christians.

Australian Christians are 100% prolife. The party and its candidates all consider this the most important issue in Australia today. The party has allocated its Senate preferences with this in mind so that if they do not get enough votes to win a Senate position the votes will flow to other prolife candidates.

2.       House of Representatives

Give your number 1 preference to the Australian Christians candidate. Even if they do not get elected this gives a clear signal to the successful candidate that you voted prolife first. Remember your vote will pass on in order at full value to each of the candidates you vote for until only two are left. The one with over 50% of the votes will be elected. A vote for a minor prolife party is never wasted.

Specific guidance regarding how to place the major party candidates is given for some seats below.

Canning – Put Don Randall (Liberal) ahead of Labor. He has voted against embryo research, cloning and RU486.

Curtin – Put Julie Bishop (Liberal) last. She has voted for embryo research, cloning and RU486.

Fremantle – Put Melissa Parkes (Labor) last. As a member of Emily’s List she is committed to vote for any bill supporting unrestricted abortion.

Perth – put Alannah MacTiernan (Labor) last. As a member of the Western Australian Parliament, she voted in 1998 to legalise abortion and in 2007 for cloning.

Stirling – Put Michael Keenan (Liberal) last. He has voted for cloning and RU486.

Tangney – Put Denis Jenssen (Liberal) last. He has voted for cloning and RU486.
